Working in Partnership to Prevent Crime

Antrim DPP can not solve all of the local problems in relation to policing and crime prevention, on its own, nor can the PSNI on its own. Therefore it is essential that effective partnerships are developed and maintained by Antrim DPP in order to have a real impact on crime and the prevention of crime.

The list of organisations that can have a role to play in preventing crime is substantial, and growing, and perhaps one of the key groups is the general public. That is everyday people like you. You may think that you as one person can not have a big impact on preventing crime, but you can, and if everybody in the Borough did all they could to prevent crime, that would make a huge diference.

The role of the Antrim DPP is to help you to contribute as much as you possibly can to make the biggest difference you can make in preventing crime throughout the Borough.

If you would like to find out more about some of the Crime Prevention measures that Antrim DPP is involved with, and which may benefit you then contact the DPP Manager, Mr Patrick McKibbin (Click on the tab at the left  "Antrim DPP Members")
