I would like to welcome you to Ards District Policing Partnership’s Web Site. I hope that you find the information contained on the site both of use and of interest.

The Partnership was first formed in March 2003 to influence policing at a local level. I am delighted with the progress to date as acknowledged by the District Commander who stated recently:

Ards District Policing Partnership has been invaluable in highlighting the need for community participation and providing me with feedback from its Community Consultation.  This has underpinned the process of preparing the Policing Plan for Ards.

It is clear however that tackling crime and the fear of crime is not solely the responsibility of the police but involves us all, from the individual to businesses, the voluntary and community sector to the whole range of statutory organisations operating within the Borough.
