Who can Attend

Meetings in Public are open to anyone who wishes to attend.  They are held in venues throughout the district and a minimum of six meetings must be held in public every year.  Meetings have been held in Keady, Middletown, Loughgall, Armagh, Tandragee and Markethill.

Although attendances by members of the public have been low, local newspapers have highlighted the issues raised and brought the information to the general public.

A Meeting in Public was held in October 2004 aimed specifically at engaging young people was very well attended by students from local schools, over 100 people attended the Meeting held in the Market Place Theatre and Arts Centre.  

Armagh DPP would like to encourage people who live in the Armagh District to come along to a Meeting in Public and play their part in shaping their local police service.
