Carrickfergus is a 24 hour opening station, Whitehead station has limited opening hours and the public can be met there by arrangement or appointment through the Neighbourhood Policing team on 028 9025 9620
SECTORS
Carrickfergus District Command Unit has been divided into three Sectors based on the Electoral Wards of the Carrickfergus Borough Council. These Sectors are under the control of two Inspectors who act as Sector Commanders for the areas reporting directly to the District Commander.
Sector 1 – Greenisland – 028 9025 9650
Inspector Stanbridge is the Sector Commander for Greenisland. He is responsible for the delivery of local policing on behalf of the District Commander. He seeks to deliver local objectives through a problem solving approach to community issues.
Sector 2 – Carrickfergus – 028 9025 9636
Inspector Mahood is the Sector Commander for Carrickfergus. Through consultation and in partnership with the community, statutory and other agencies he will address local issues, which affect community safety. His goal being to reduce crime, fear of crime and anti-social behaviour within Carrick Sector.
Sector 3 – Whitehead and Eden – 028 9025 9650
Inspector Stanbridge is also the Sector Commander for Whitehead and Eden. He is responsible for the delivery of local policing on behalf of the District Commander. He seeks to deliver local and Sector policing objectives through his Sector team and with the involvement of the local community. Inspector Gillis focuses on solving local problems with the community in partnership with private, public and voluntary agencies.
