Meetings

Castlereagh DPP is required to hold a number of meetings to comply with the legislative requirements of the ‘Police (Northern Ireland) Act 2000’ and the ‘District Policing Partnerships' Code of Practice on Functions and Responsibilities’.

Meetings of the District Policing Partnership take various forms.

  • Meetings in public occur every 3 months
  • Public consultation meetings are scheduled by the DPP and in response to requests from the local community.
  • Focus groups are planned specifically to research local needs to be included in the local policing plan.
  • Individual / group meetings can be facilitated by the DPP on request to the DPP Manager.
