Local Police Performance

Castlereagh DPP has a duty to monitor the performance of the local PSNI.  This is done by regularly measuring their performance against the targets within their local policing plan.  In order to measure their performance the PSNI District Commander for the area presents a report to the DPP on a bi-monthly basis to the DPP meetings in public.  This report updates the members of the DPP on the crime statistics for the two month period and for the year to date.  This enables members to view the target in each area and assess whether the PSNI are on target or are failing to meet their target.

Members are also advised of initiatives which are being developed by the PSNI to address specific incidents of criminal behaviour.  Reports from the District Commander can be viewed here.
