Local Police Performance

Monitor police performance against the local policing plan

In order to monitor the performance of the local police, Coleraine District Policing Partnership holds a number of public meetings in a variety of locations throughout the Borough.

These meetings require the PSNI District Commander to present a report on the progress that the local police are making towards the targets that have been set for the District Command Unit.  During the year the District Commander also has to present his 6-monthly and annual reports against targets set in the local policing plan.

Following the presentation of the District Commander’s report, the members of the DPP ask questions relating to the report and the policing of the area.

The public meetings are also an important opportunity for members of the public to learn more about local policing priorities as well as the ongoing work that is being completed in the Borough.
