Working in Partnership to Prevent Crime

As part of the Operational Plan, Coleraine District Policing Partnership covers all responsibilities including Gaining the co-operation of the public in working with the police to prevent crime.

In addition to the links with established community groups and other groups in the Borough, the DPP has highlighted the following issues based on the priorities identified for input into the Local Policing Plan:

  • Underage drinking and drug use,
  • Domestic violence,
  • Domestic burglary,
  • Young people causing a nuisance,
  • Speeding.

The DPP, however, recognise that these priorities may change during the year if policing concerns alter substantially.
