Who can Attend
Meetings of the Partnership in public session are open to any member of the public who has an interest in the policing of the district to attend.
When attending meetings members of the public are restricted to the area of the venue designated by the District Policing Partnership Manager, and numbers admitted will be in compliance with the health and safety regulations for the venue.
The attendance of the public is subject to the following:
- admission will be upon the understanding that they must continue to be seated at all times, and that no expression of opinion or noise of any kind should be made
- chairman may at any time during the proceedings, if he thinks necessary to secure order, direct the removal of any individual or group of individuals from the venue, or order the venue to be cleared of members of the public
Whilst the Partnership facilitates the attendance of the media, cameras, tape recorders, amplification equipment or similar instruments are not permitted for use by the press or other persons at meetings, unless prior permission has been given.
