Format of Meetings

Meetings in public session, which are regulated by the Partnership’s Standing Orders are open to any member of the public to attend.  As meetings in public are held primarily to provide a platform for the Partnership to monitor the work of the police in the most transparent manner possible agendas follow a similar format.

Business items dealt with at such meetings typically include:

1. Apologies

2. Introduction from the Chairman

3. Adoption of minutes from previous meeting

4. Matters Arising

5. General Partnership Business

6. Specialist Briefings from the District Commander

7. District Commanders Report

8. Questions from DPP Members on the Report (and members of the public)

9. Oral Answers to questions previously submitted by the public

10. Themed Policing Orientated Presentation

11. Debate and discussion between contributors and Members

12. Any Other Business
