Meetings in Public of Craigavon DPP generally follow the following format:
- INTRODUCTION
- MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING
- MATTERS ARISING
- CHAIRMAN'S BUSINESS
- DISTRICT COMMANDER'S REPORT
- MEMBERS' QUESTIONS
- WRITTEN QUESTIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
- ORAL QUESTIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
- ITEMS FOR INFORMATION
From time to time the DPP also invites various organisations to deliver presentations on issues related to crime and policing that are of interest to the wider public.
In addition to holding the recommended four Meetings in Public, the DPP will also be facilitating a number of ‘themed’ Public Meetings. It is anticipated these public ‘debates’ will focus on major issues of concern, e.g. underage drinking, domestic burglary, attacks against the elderly etc.
The next themed Public Meeting will be held on Wednesday 26 April 2006, with the topic of Respecting Diversity and Race Hate Crime being addressed. The time and venue is yet to be confirmed. If you would like to give any feedback on this event, please do so by clicking on this link.
