Role of DPP


The main roles and responsibilities of Craigavon DPP are to:

  • Consult with the local community on local policing issues
  • Assist in establishing priorities for the local policing plan
  • Monitor the performance of the police in carrying out the local policing plan
  • Develop ways of gaining the co-operation of the local community in working with the police to prevent crime
  • Act as a general forum for discussion on matters affecting the policing of the area
