The Key Objectives for Down DCU in 2003 - 2005
- To work in partnership with other relevant agencies to help reduce the incidence of crime, including organised crime, in line with the Governments published targets; and to diminish the ffear of crime.
- To uphold and maintain the rule of law, counter the terrorist threat; and bring to justice those responsible for crime.
- To improve organisational effectiveness in the police service.
