Down DPP through the use of comprehensive press coverage has ensured the people of Down District were aware of the issues involved in efficient and effective policing and the need for community involvement in this vital area of activity. The messages were communicated via the DDPP meetings held in public and contact made with organisations active throughout the community. Members of the Partnership also received presentations and attended conferences throughout the year.
