Welcome to Dungannon and South Tyrone DPP

I am very pleased to welcome you to the Dungannon and South Tyrone District Policing Partnership (DPP) website and hope that you find the content informative and useful.

Dungannon and South Tyrone DPP was first established in December 2004. It is a partnership between Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council, represented by nine Political Members, and the local community, represented by eight Independent Members.

The role of Dungannon and South Tyrone DPP is to

• consult the community to identify local policing issues of concern
• identify policing priorities for the local policing plan in conjunction with the District Commander for Dungannon and South Tyrone
• monitor police performance against the targets in the local and Northern Ireland policing plans
• gain the co-operation of the public with the police in preventing crime
• act as a general forum for discussion on all matters affecting the policing of the Borough.
