Local Policing Plan
The Local Policing Plan is produced annually by the PSNI. It sets out the policing and crime priorities that the police are going to concentrate their resources on during the financial year.
The Local Policing Plan contains priorities that the police must address (for example, domestic burglary) and objectives and targets that they must meet (for example, a 5% reduction in domestic burglary).
The PSNI develops the Local Policing Plan in conjunction with the DPP. The DPP negotiates with the police to have the issues that are of most concern to the community included as priorities in the Plan.
