Meetings in Public

Each District Policing Partnership (DPP) hold a minimum of six public meetings a year.  These will be held every two months.  However, in order to carry out the business of the DPP, it may be necessary to meet more frequently than this.

At each of these public meetings the District Commander will present his/her report.  The DPP will then question the District Commander on issues that have been raised in the report.  They will also ask the police questions that may have been forwarded to them by members of the public.  For information on how to ask questions, please access your local DPP.  You can find your local DPP page by using the Interactive Map.

In addition to the public meeting the DPP may meet in private.  Such meetings allow the DPP to plan its business and prepare for future meetings.

In order to give everyone in the community an opportunity to attend a meeting in public the DPP rotate their meetings across different venues and locations throughout the local area.

To find out the time and location of your next local DPP meeting in public, please access the calendar.
