Larne District Policing Partnership comprises of 15 Members, 8 of which are Elected representatives on Larne Borough Council and 7 Independent Members drawn from the local community. The current Independent Members were appointed by the Northern Ireland Policing Board in Spring 2008 following an extensive recruitment process.
The term of office for the current Members came into effect in April 2008 following a selection process undertaken by Larne Borough Council in conjunction with the Northern Ireland Policing Board.
