Limavady DPP Members

Limavady District Policing Partnership was formed in March 2003.  It was fully reconstituted on 1st April 2008 and now has 17 members, made up of elected members and those appointed to represent the community.

In September 2003, Limavady DPP hosted a regional event for other DPP's in the northern corridor where presentations by Crimestoppers, Community Safety Unit, Office of the Police Ombudsman and the Human Rights Commissioner made presentations on their roles and responsibilities.

In October 2004, a further event was held for seven local DPP's.  This event, sought to inform DPP members of the criminal justice system in which policing sits.   Representatives from The Probation Board, Youth Justice Agency, Director of Public Prosecution, The Courts and The Children and Young People's Commission participated in the event.
