Meetings

Public Meetings

Newry and Mourne District Policing Partnership holds at least 4 Public Meetings during each financial year (April-March).

The purpose of the meetings is to give local people the opportunity to hear a member of the PSNI report on the Local Crime and Policing Issues throughout the District.

Members of the Public have the opportunity to bring their own concerns about Policing issues in the District to the attention of the PSNI and the DPP Members at this meeting and discuss them openly.

You and or your community groups have a part to play in shaping the local policing service you recieive by raising local policing issues via the following methods:

  • In writing in advance of a Meeting in Public
  • In person during a Meeting in Public
  • Via a DPP Member
  • By telephone, fax or email
  • Discussion Forums

General Forums of Discussion

A General Forum for Discussion is an event held to allow members of the public and DPP members to discuss a theme that is of interest to people in Newry and Mourne Distict.  Two of these meetings a year are held at various times and venues across the District
