MEETINGS

Newtownabbey DPP hold 12 private and 6 public meetings a year.

At the meetings in private members of the partnership are given the opportunity to discuss the crime figures and issues around policing in the Borough with the PSNI District Commander as well managing DPP business related issues.  These meetings are not open to members of the public.

At the meetings in public the PSNI District Commander will present a crime report and members of the Partnership will have an opportunity to question the Commander on the report. Written questions which have been received in advance of the meeting will be put to the Commander for consideration and response if appropriate.  The Chairman will then open the meeting up to all other attendees who wish to ask the Commander a question relating to policing issues in the Borough  Members of the public who do not wish to ask a question directly to the Commander, should contact the DPP Office in advance and arrangements will be made for a member of the Partnership to ask the question on your behalf.  All resulting feedback is managed by the DPP Office.

Meetings in public are held at various venues throughout the Antrim Line, Ballyclare, Macedon and University electoral areas.  Exact venue and meeting details are published in the local press , however you can contact the DPP office for further details at any time.
