STRABANE DPP ATTEND CASTLEDERG APPLE FAIR & STRABANE FARMERS MARKET
29.10.07
Strabane District Policing Partnership (DPP) hosted an information stand at the recent Castlederg Apple Fair and Strabane Farmers Market.
Noelle Donnell, Vice Chair said “these events provided Strabane DPP with an opportunity to engage with many members of the public from towns and villages throughout our district. They also provided an opportunity to hear local concerns regarding policing. All information collated will feed into the DPPs public consultation process and will be used in on-going discussions with local police.”
A range of literature highlighting the work of Strabane DPP and providing information regarding home and farm security was available for anyone who was interested, while fluorescent armbands and personal alarms were distributed in a bid to promote personal safety as we approach the darker evenings. Further copies of this literature is available on request from the DPP office on 028 7138 1333 or by e-mailing dpp@strabanedc.com
