Local Policing Plan

Local Policing Plans are the plans that the local police use to direct their day to day work.

Strabane DPP provide recommendations to the District Commander to input into the Local Policing Plan. It remains at the District Commander's discretion whether he should action these recommendations.

Strabane DPP have 5 out 7 of their recommendations incorporated into the 2008/09 Local Policing Plan

Strabane DPP have had 80% of their recommendations incorporated into the 2007/08 Local Policing Plan

Strabane DPP have had 78% of their recommendations incorporated into the 2006/07 Local Policing Plan

Strabane DPP had 80% of their recommendation incorporated into the 2005/06 Local Policing Plan

Strabane DPP had 73% of their recommendations incorporated into the 2004/2005 Local Policing Plan

Strabane DPP are confident that they have had an impact on the delivery of policing at a local level. Strabane DPP continue to monitor local police performance against objectives that the community have had an input into and are concerned about.
