G District Command Unit comprises of Foyle, Limavady, Magherafelt and Strabane command areas. Acting Chief Superintendent David Hanna is the Commander in charge of G District. Working to the District Commander and his team is Chief Inspector Phil Marks, who is the Area Commander for Strabane.
Strabane Command Area covers the same geographical boundaries as Strabane District Council. It is divided into two sectors, ie Urban and Rural Sectors. Urban covers Strabane Town and Sion Mills, whereas Rural covers Castlederg, Donemana, Magheramason and Newtownstewart.
