At the heart of everything that the Antrim DPP does is the local community, that is anyone who lives and works anywhere in the Antrim Borough Council area.

The main purpose of Antrim District Policing Partnership (DPP) is to make the local Police service, and those people that deliver the service, more accountable to the public, people like you and me. Antrim DPP therfore is not part of the PSNI, and the PSNI are not part of the DPP, but the two work together to continually make the local police service the best that it can be, and meeting the needs of the communities it serves.

Not only that, but the DPP gives you the opportunity to directly help determine how the local police service is delivered throughout the Antrim Borough, by telling the DPP what is working well and what needs to be improved.

In order to find out what the average person in the Borough thinks about how crime is tackled, and how crime prevention is undertaken, the DPP carries out surveys using a number of different means.
